Articles for Journal on African Philosophy will be selected based on the results of blind reviews. Submissions are invited of original manuscripts, book reviews, and critical commentaries on any topic on African philosophy. We welcome submissions that are sufficiently current, and that will benefit from the timely turnaround offered by the electronic publishing. Each article will be sent to two scholars for review; the editors will approve articles for publication based on the opinions of the reviewers. All submissions must be original and the article must not have been accepted for publication elsewhere.

Submissions should conform to scholarly standards within the humanities, preferably The Chicago Manual of Style. Articles should include a brief (200 words or less) abstract and a short biography (100 words or less) with author's full name, title, current affiliation and a brief description of recent work on a separate page.

Authors of contributions accepted for publication in the journal must explore and implement hyperlinks to books, articles, and other sites of interest (including such as publishers' web sites) and input the name of the item with the URL of it in parentheses.

Authors of articles accepted for publication must submit an abstract of the article in 200 words (placed on the page of the table of contents page of the issue) as well as an author's profile of 200 words (placed with the article); authors of book reviews, review articles, and bibliographies must send an author's and/or reviewer's profile of 200 words (placed with the review article or review).
